ABOUT RAUL VALLADARES
Raul Valladares was born and raised in Chicago's Logan Square neighborhood. He eventually moved to a North West suburb in DuPage County, where he attended and completed high school.
He is a U.S. Army Veteran of eight years were he served across the U.S. and overseas. Raul attended several leadership courses and achieved the rank of Staff Sergeant in just over six years. At his last duty station, he held the position of Platoon Sergeant, where he was directly responsible for the morale, training and welfare of over twenty soldiers and five sergeants.
In 2012, Raul was hired as a police officer for a Higher Education Police Department. He has held the positions of patrol officer, investigator and is now a patrol sergeant. Currently, he is responsible for all the trainings at his Police Department and participates in the Behavioral Intervention Team and Incident Management Team for the institution.
EDUCATION
Raul holds a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal and Justice Studies from Lewis University.
